Hello everybody. Just signed up and, seemingly rarely, I am male. A quick scout around seems to suggest that us males make up no more than 5-10% of the local population here.

Nevertheless, a big hello from (sunny, today) Devon and Happy New Year to all and sundry. 😊

You need to open a forum for newbie men, Granddads, as well as joining in the other ones. Welcome. Its nice to get a male in put.

I did notice that there is a forum called 'Grandad's Shed'. It is the least used of any of them, with 69 posts in almost 15 years!!

So, being in Dawlish, you're almost at the other end of the no. 11 bus route from us.

Is the 11 the Dawlish Warren to Torquay bus, or is that the 22. I can't remember. 🤔

The 22 used to be the bus that went through to Dawlish Warren but it has been reduced to running in Torbay and the 11 serves your neck of the woods.

You see Shihtzu where woman have always known the value of chewing over problems and sharing happiness and sadness with friends, colleagues, even strangers, men are only just coming round to the idea that the stiff upper lip isn’t really the answer
So I m sure over the years you ll find more males joining in but at the moment you’re a few pioneers

I hope so. I think there are a few grandads on here that have been around for a while but they are so outnumbered by the grandmas they might feel a bit intimidated!! 🤣

ShihtzuDad, I am a newbie though I spent a while browsing before saying anything, and though I am a woman I also can find it a bit intimidating at times, not to mention confusing.
