Speaking as one who has had facial hair all her adult life and has tried everything bar threading:
Shaving: don't do it.
Epilation: it hurts like stink
Waxing: also hurts like stink but someone else is doing it so they can get it over with quicker,
Depilatory creams: only take the hair off at skin level so quicker regrowth though handy for a quick fix.
Plucking: time consuming and it's easy to miss hairs if you're not in the right light. Again, handy for instant results.
Electrolysis: Painful and costly and after a couple of years my beauty therapist gave up and advised me to try laser
Laser: I tried Ruby laser which only works on hair that contains pigment; if your whiskers are white or blonde don't waste your money. Several treatments later I was ecstatic, great result. 5 years later I was back to square one. Tried laser light treatment; total waste of time and money.
I now wax for special occasions, tweeze out the worst and, in the main, go 'au naturelle' and nobody's died of fright.
So, remember; nobody else gives a fig what's on your face, it's just the media and the beauty market that want to make us feel bad and spend our cash.
