I've been to the pharmacy today and they have given me Periton which causes drowsiness so this will help hopefully with my sleeping (hardly slept last night).
She suggested if I've not received some relief within the next few days I should go back to the GP.
I've been using the antihistamine cream but found out you can only use it for at the most 7 days.
Ash Tree not heard of Sudocrem but will try and buy it tomorrow.

I've bought some cotton pants thought that would be better for my skin.

I thought back to Wednesday when it all started and I was clearing out the garage and it was very dusty and I read on the Internet dust mites can cause this type of reaction but I don't have a runny nose or eyes.
My big worry was if it was contagious as we had visited our newborn grandson last Sunday.

Hogweed (looks a bit like cow parsley) causes appalling rash with blisters if you get the sap on you. I know this probably isn't relevant to Jeanie so apologies for diverting from the thread.

Ashtree that is what mine looked like. I have never had it since and I still have no clue what caused it.

I think the blistering is unusual and would go back to the GP and perhaps ask for some blood tests.

Have you tried the E45 Itch Relief cream? I find that so good at relieving itchiness. Another one to try is Sudocrem. I wouldn't be without either of these creams.
I tend to suffer from itchiness - not a rash as you have, so is probably not the same thing - I take a 'one a day' hayfever/allergy tablet every night before bed. I have also swapped my down quilt and pillows for man made fibre ones and I cannot believe the difference it has made. I miss the feel of the down quilt, but it was a high price to pay.

I had something like that around my ankles many years ago it was appallingly itchy. Have you been gardening or around any plants that might have caused it. Could you try antihistamine cream as well?

Calamine lotion? It sounds horrible - hope it eases soon.

How awful for you, it will be driving you mad!
I have found that Anthisan cream is good for stopping itching, when other creams haven't worked, so it might be worth a try.

That sounds very uncomfortable, have you eaten anything that might cause a reaction like seafood or touched any plants? Washing powder/bath oils?
Could it be an extreme reaction to an insect bite?

I dont know how to stop the itching. I am sure others might.
