As some of you will know I have had lots of problems since my hip replacement. Went to see consultant today and he says the x-rays look fine, which is reassuring; but he could not prod anywhere near it without me jumping out of my skin. He says it is trochanteric bursitis and gave me a steroid injection. I have my fingers crossed that this will do the trick.
It was quite an adventure as I parked myself in the hospital car park, got out of the car and realised I did not have my handbag with me - so no money! I went to the ticket machine and pressed the help button and a disembodied voice told me to get out quickly as there was 10 minutes grace on the ticket barrier; and then to park outside A&E (which is pay and display) and I would get fined but at least I would be able to get out!! As I drove in I saw the warden photographing the number plates, so I sneaked in between two cars he had already photographed when he wasn't looking. In spite of a long wait I came out and found no clamp! - so dashed off pdq!!
Making ‘winter’ dishes in June😱

glad you got away with it!!!!
