A friend has to have one of these soon-awaiting appointment and instructions.
As an insomniac I'm the perfect person to accompany her. So I'm trying to think of things we can do to stay awake-suppose you can virtually guarantee it will be one of the few nights when I could sleep well!
So far I've thought we could watch an exciting edge of seat film in the evening. Then our DHs can toddle off to the land of nod. Then I thought we could go to one of our local supermarkets that's open all night. Perhaps back home for a coffee if allowed then back to the other supermarket open. A passing thought was to go to hospital about 45 mins away and watch the shenanigans at A&E. Any other ideas? Especially from anyone who really knows what we're expected to do?

I'm probably a bit thick but I didn't understand what kind of appointment makes staying awake important?
