I think this belief that every book, advert, film, etc etc that says something now considered behaviourally incorrect is going to influence the reader to copy the action is ridiculous.
OK, there is always the odd idiot, but is reading Peppa Pig going to lead parents (or is it the children) to call out their GP in a similar situation just because Peppa Pig or his/her parents did?
How silly can we get? Should we ban the works of Jane Austen because they are all based on a girl making a successful marriage and this being her only reasonable way of getting on in life and this will lead to girls thinking that this should be their only aim in life
Is this behaviour appropriate.
