Hello everyone...

SparklyGrandma Sat 06-Jul-19 10:33:50

nanny the other option is asking for psychotherapy or sourcing it yourself. I paid privately for it when depressed.

Not meant as criticism ???? but very few people go into hospital these days, resources mean doctors have to section people to get them in. If your job relies on you not ever having been sectioned under the Mental Health Act, it’s important to bear that in mind.

Better to get urgent talking to someone help, NHS or private.

thanks sparkly xx

Hi, just thought I would say that in my area at least there is a self referral system for counselling.

Re: Atrophy I suffer from this and the bladder issues that go with it. I have been prescribed estranged pessaries for now and under the hospital for further tests regarding my bladder. I will ask my go about Replens.

One other thing I would like to add, you know how everyone says oh good things come to an end? Well bad things do as well. xxx

Anniebach Sun 07-Jul-19 10:57:34

Joce345 Sun 07-Jul-19 11:08:19

Joce345 Sun 07-Jul-19 11:10:01

Hi Annie how are you? Is your daughter still with you? Hope you have had a lovely weekend with her xx

Nonnie Sun 07-Jul-19 11:24:16

Hi all, hope your weekend is OK if not good.

Another sleepless night so not doing much today apart from a bit of paperwork and inventing a recipe to make teacakes. Couldn't find a bread maker one so combined various and it is in the machine. I'm sure we will eat whatever comes out.

nanny2507 Sun 07-Jul-19 20:34:33

Hello all....well...I have taken the plunge and visited a cat tonight after work. Shes a sweet slight built one year old who has already had kittens. Her previous owners were from Latvia and the kittens were 4 week old and the owners were going back to their own country and were going to just kick her and her 2 babies out into the street...but a small rescue place took them... I am waiting for my home check but now I am doubting my choice...but I do that all the time. I AM having her x

Anniebach Sun 07-Jul-19 20:44:06

nanny i think you want the cat but you are afraid , if you accept this little cat is a new friend not a replacement you will love her, sounds as if she is in need of a loving, stable home x

Anniebach Sun 07-Jul-19 20:49:54

nonnie sorry not a good day today , hope you enjoyed the teacakes x

Joce my younger daughter went home yesterday, I miss her x

Wondering if my bloods tests and x ray results will be back
this week.

More concerned that I may have to travel 20 miles from home than what the lump is , that’s agoraphobia, senseless

Joce345 Sun 07-Jul-19 21:04:33

Aww Annie bless you, don’t why I was thinking she was with you for the weekend. Hope you really enjoyed her company.
That’s what does me Annie test results they really upset me. The waiting.. Is it just me that goes to pieces with thing like this. Please keep us up on how things are going Annie..

Anniebach Sun 07-Jul-19 21:24:01

Joce my concern is not the results no matter if serious or not, it’s having to leave the house for treatment, I have already refused an MRI scan

nanny2507 Sun 07-Jul-19 21:55:15

awww annie i really hope it goes ok and that maybe its something that doesnt need treatment or if it does it can be carried out at home.. If you want to talk about your bad day just message me. Always here xx You are spot on..i,m terrified. Of loving and losing her..of betraying tank of everyone thinking i have given up on tank, I will NEVER give up my search for tank.

Anniebach Sun 07-Jul-19 22:10:46

nannie I very much doubt any treatment can be carried out at home. I will see the consultant, discuss what can be done then I will make a decision. Depends what the lump is.

Please don’t do a guilt trip, you are not replacing tank, you are not, you are giving a home to a little cat who needs your
love.

I have had many dogs, not one replaced the dog who had died. When we have our children our second child doesn’t take love away from our first child, we are capable of giving
much love x

nanny2507 Sun 07-Jul-19 22:13:51

some people say...and what will happen when tank comes home...with that look that says hmm hmmm then what. I say....then I will have 3 cats. They seem to think that if i have mabel (thats her name) and tank comes home i will give one away, how can they think that. Makes me so cross x

nanny2507 Sun 07-Jul-19 22:14:16

annie i am being rude...how was your few days with your daughter xx

Joce345 Sun 07-Jul-19 22:24:00

Wish I was brave like you Annie... x

Anniebach Sun 07-Jul-19 22:27:18

nannie my younger daughter has four cats and four dogs, loves them all and knows their different personalities.

You can love 3 cats x

Anniebach Sun 07-Jul-19 22:34:59

Joce the days my younger daughter was with me was wonderful, much laughter and hugs.

I am not brave , I will not allow myself to wonder what is the cause of the lump, I assure you, my fears are centred on the possibility I may have to go to the hospital 20 miles away ,

you and I have our fears, they are different reasons but still
Fear x

Joce345 Sun 07-Jul-19 23:00:29

That true Annie so true.. I do hope and pray you don’t have to go to in to hospital.. night all sleep well . ?
