Cannabis Tea

Before I went on holiday I bought a packet of CBD teabags with the idea that I had nothing to lose but my money! They are not cheap, at £10.99 for 10 but one bag will do three infusions.
I took it the 2 days before I went away and noticed a real difference to my hip pain.
Too chicken to take any with me (in case of sniffer dogs at Customs!) I did without for the week and my hip started playing up again. Now I am home I have had 3 mugs each day and guess what? The pain in my hip is receding again and I am walking normally once more.
Has anybody else had experience of Cannabis tea or CBD oil?

I think CBD would have been ok to take with you. It doesn't have the hemp which is the element that is hallucinatory and gives a high.

I tried the oil but didn't notice any benefits.

I’ve tried CBD oil but no difference. My hip pain does go into spontaneous remission every now and then though.

DH tried the oil. Very expensive and didn't make any difference to him

Oh, i always wanted to try it, it is very popular and i'm interested in it. Now i use CBD oil agains the pain. It really helps me a lot.

I would like to try it.
But it would have to have some bonus compared to say ibuprofen.
Is there any?

It adds a whole new theme to the " more tea vicar " scenario.

I can’t help but think it’s a fashion

It's not a fashion. It really could be used for medicinal purposes for a wide range of ailments and illnesses.

Hemp has low levels of THC.

MissAdventure Tue 23-Jun-20 22:42:33

It's THC that gets you high, but cbd can give a lovely relaxing feeling without that element.
Whether it works?

I'm sure I watched a documentary years ago where it was given to a parkinsons sufferer, and the effect was astounding.

Big list of drugs not to mix with CBD: www.mydosage.com/cbd-guide/cbd-drugs-interactions-explained

This is why I have not tried it as I am on 3 of these.

Thanks Lucky girl. That’s very helpful

Very useful information, Luckygirl.
