I thought I was getting constant urine infection , month after month i would have these dreaded feelings of a infection ..This lasted for 2 years and then the dr sent me to Malton one stop clinic ..where i had ultrasound and they said id got a simple Cyst on the kidney ..Theses urine infections lasted another year , Ring dr and they would send me antibiotics through to the chemist , then they decided best get these urine samples checked out ..Some would come back id got a infection and other times there wasn't , so ..after another few months of bladder pain and pressure down below i took myself to Hospital , they took me in for 3 days and did all the checks and referred me to a Urologist , there he said he would do a Bladder stretch and Biopsy ..He said I'm sure you have interstitial cystitis ..So 9 months after this , the GPs decided to do another ultrasound ..They said the Cysts had gone ,but got scarring on the kidney , the kidney function was fine and left kidney is on the wrong place , but working ..4 weeks ago i went and had the Bladder stretch and Biopsy , put to sleep .. great i can now sleep , because id had years of constant weeing through the night .No sleep ..After the op they gave me a letter and sent me home ..there it says ..Atrophic Vaginitis , Interstitial Cystitis ,Bladder lays fine , urethra fine ,some inflammatory on the bladder due to the urine infections some U Os He had burnet off the blisters / cysts in bladder ..I had to wait 3 weeks for the Biopsy and like you i was scared to death I'd got cancer ..I opened the letter and it said ....Nothing of concerns , see you in Jan at the Clinic ... So Please don't be scared ..It takes over your life i know ..Hope they put your mind at rest and you can get this awful Urine infections or none infections sorted ..Remember I C is big in women and ask for hrt vaginal cream , that will help also , good luck Honey x
