I feel awful they are sending an ambulance.

I've probably only pulled something or maybe it's just terrible indigestion. I got a bit tipsy earlier and ate too much. They said they have to send an ambulance for any chest pain. I feel awful wasting their time as they said it will be a while and there must be people who need it more. Don't know what to do with myself while I wait.

Anyone sent a PM to starblaze?

Also, anyone waiting for an ambulance while alone, must make sure to have the front unlocked.

Just to pick up on this - if you're really ill and can't get to your front door do not delay calling an ambulance; they will be able to gain entry with the help of the police/fire service.

I know someone who delayed calling 999 when he was having a stroke because he was worried about the front door and was waiting for his daughter to return home.

I did pm her. No reply ?

I am really worried and I hope she is ok

Does anyone have contact with her IRL?

Urmstongran Wed 18-Dec-19 19:57:27

Is she elderly?

Callistemon Wed 18-Dec-19 20:37:46

She could still be having tests.

I'm so so sorry everyone

I am a she!

I had a couple of glasses and a few too many chocolates at my work do, it was afternoon so not over the top. I had a lot of pain in my chest and my neck which was why I thought indigestion.

I haven't had a heart attack but it wasn't indigestion either. I had an SVT attack that lasted about 36 hours, this is all very new so bear with me. When the ambulance came my heart rate was 190. In hospital I had my heart stopped and started 3 times before they could finally get it under control. I had to be stable for 24 hours before I was allowed home as they were worried my heart would fail. There was talk of getting me straight into surgery but they have decided now I should wait till in the new year. I will be having a minor heart surgery to cauterise off a little piece of heart muscle. I had actually been having short episodes for a while but just thought it was panic attacks. Happened quite often at night where I woke with my heart racing and I put it down to bad dreams as it didn't last long.

Once again I am so sorry, I really wasn't very with it and feeling quite dizzy and sick. I thought I was wasting the ambulances time and resources.

I'm taking tablets in the meantime and I feel dreadful and very very tired. I have never been so terrified and thought I was dying a few times.

If I don't catch up soon, Merry Christmas everyone.
