Good evening all xxx I was allowed to the funeral as 15 were allowed all people attending had been following lockdown and all it brings. We had been friends for 27 years i am devastated but I'm so glad we could say goodbye

More bottles to wash !

Doodle the bottles ? If I had full use of my hands , five trays
are delivered and placed in the hall, I then have to move a few
bottles at a time through the living room into a very small
kitchen with one worktop, wash them, wait for them to dry and put in two cupboards, 140 bottles ! My days seem to revolve around bottles ?

Sorry all those who said they would pray/think about me today. Last night got an email saying it will be on Monday. This is getting stressful now as we thought we had definite arrangements and feel we are being messed about by the very people who should be doing what they are paid to do.

nanny so glad you were able to go to the funeral, it is an important part of grieving.

*Lavender' good to hear things have settled down.

annie I'm sure you are used to dealing with HMRC but don't suppose that makes it any easier. I need to talk to them but been putting it off as too much hassle.

Not coping so well today, all getting a bit on top of me. Feeling impotent and not good at letting it takes its course. Always been one to do everything I can to make things better so finding it hard when there is nothing I can do and have to leave it to others.

Thanks all for your prayers and support, I will really appreciate it if you can keep it up until I can report that this difficult 'meeting' has been done. It really does have to be Monday, can't be postponed again.

annie it really does sound like a full time job. How long does the 140 bottles last?

Only telephone HMRC if you really have to, I telephoned
everyday for three weeks, listened to all the usual blah, blah
on what could be found on line, then pressed phone keys as
directed, to be told -‘we are unable to take more calls ,good by’

Positives - YES. DH just told me that our weekly supermarket delivery has changed, we can have the only thing we have been missing, dried yeast. They don't actually have the usual size so are sending a huge pack which I can share with others. The are giving us the carrots because they are on short date. On top of that the overdue MOT is not needed until November. OK none of these are important but it is nice to find that, even in a small way, life can be good to me.

Doodle thank you for all your help with my quilting, I have done it and am quite pleased with it for a first attempt..
don’t think I could have done it with your help.

Doodle did your new pillow help you sleep better, I could certainly do with something myself, probably a mallet! I hate waking in the night, I always hope it's morning!

Lavender yes I’m ok thank you, it was lovely to see um but upsetting at the same time if that makes sense.. it’s doesn’t feel right not to be able to hug them...

Thank you for asking lavender . I have used the new pillow for two nights now. When I first lay on it I think it’s a bit hard but then I settle down and have slept well. I will continue with it for now and see how I get on.

Hello annie. I’m ok how about you. DHs medicines arrived this morning so been spending a while checking off packets and storing it away. We could open a pharmacy ?
Having a lazy breakfast at the moment. If we carry on much longer it’ll be lunchtime! Hope you have a good day.

Doodle the right pillow is a Godsend, I remember some years ago the difference it made to me.

joce crafting is supposed to be very good for our mental health so enjoy.

My gc had a 'sleepover' on mattresses on the floor in the eldest's bedroom. The littlest said 'I'm Grandma' so the older one said 'I'm Grandad'. They were on the right side of the bed too. Just a small thing but made us happy and sad at the same time.

So much sadness around, had a call from someone I haven't spoken to for years and it made me grateful for my life. I keep reminding myself how much good there is in my life.

I feel a lot brighter today and thank you for all of your kind words. This morning I got up early and had a walk about and this afternoon more packing. The light is definitely getting nearer and the husband is out for most of the time now. God knows where and who care! X

annie It’s a lovely day here today. What’s it like in Wales. Can you get anywhere near your garden? I’ve got the window open and can hear the birds in the trees. Lovely little chap singing his heart out (might be a she of course)
