Hi all x
Same question - how is everyone ?
Hi all.
Hope you are all well. Moving day might be as soon as Monday!!!!!!!! Yippeeeeee!!!!! My friend is trying to borrow a van and then I am off and that is it. Just one more weekend! I cannot wait and the tears will flow next week - of joy! I will always battle depression but I wont be up against this bloody husband anymore. He has stayed well out of the way and hardly around at all now. I feel like emptying the house but I will take just what is mine then when I get settled I will file for divorce.
“The sun has gone but I have a light”
Stay safe and sane all my lovely friends. X
whywhy I so hope the arrangements will go smoothly.
Give yourself time to settle, you have much to do so take care x
Good for you why all forward now.
Thank everyone for all your support. We hoped we were going one step forward today in a very long journey but it turned out it was only the last step. We have succeeded and the whole struggled was worth it.
Hello everyone, hope things are ok with you all.
Annie had a nice walk with my little four legged friend in the fresh air. Just had some lovely flowers delivered from MoonPig from my daughter, happy tears. Hope you are ok too.
Why you are nearly there, as Annie says when you get there take stock and do things at your pace. Good luck.
Nonnie so glad to hear your news, that is so positive for you xx
Thinking of Joyce, Dawn, Flutterby, Doodle and everyone, take care stay safe, love to all xx

little friend and flowers from your daughter , wonderful, x
My two four legged little friends still can’t have their walk, dog
walker like us all in Wales still in lockdown, but they have lots
of running area in the garden and I am quite an expert in
throwing the balls now.
nonnie that is wonderful news. What a relief. Hope you can relax a bit now.
why I hope you are going somewhere you will be happy.
lavender what a lovely surprise from your daughter. I bet that lifted your spirits.
annie hope you are ok. I bet your two four legged friends are just happy to be with you.
Well DH and I are going out tomorrow. The hospital has said they want DH to go for a blood test before he has his telephone hospital appointment. We were a bit surprised and assumed he would not go but they said they have a unit ready for him to go so we have to comply. I have made him a mask and we will have to see how we get on.
Sleep well all. x
Very pleased for you why why why. Hope every one is feeling as well as can be.
Good evening friends.
WHY I am delighted and excited for you. Great news. Just take things slowly and be kind to yourself

.
Lavender not that you need them but here are some
.what a lovely thoughtful gift from your daughter.
Doodle Hope thing go well for you and DH tomorrow
.
Annie you must enjoy having the dogs. I always think they make a house a home. We in Scotland are also still in Lockdown too well not so with some irresponsible people who just don’t care. I just stay at home in the garden, get deliveries online and go for a walk around my area. The weather has been lovely today. We can only do what we can (with added prayers to help).
for you tonight. Only wish they were daffodils.
I have gone on to the next page and I can’t remember who else is on today so
for everyone and sorry for not naming you all.
Have a good night, sweet dreams all and God Bless.
Hi all. Thank you for your kind words.
I am moving back to the area that I grew up in but sadly my parents have been long dead. No relatives there now but lovely friends. The friends that I have go back to school days and friends that I made in my 20s and 30s. They are all a fantastic bunch and I know life will be better once I get there. Hopefully this is my last weekend in this house of horrors. Stay safe and sane and lots of love to you all.
Doodle that sounds very positive. Hope the blood test results are good.
Why we moved back to somewhere we had lived before and have made new friends with several neighbours. We did feel that we had changed rather and didn't have as much in common as previously with some people so not seen quite as much of them as before.
When we had been back a few months we invited the neighbours to an 'at home'. It could not have been better nearly everyone came, one half one day and the other half the next. It was the best thing we could have done.
I have so many positives today! The sun is shining, my friend who was under threat of redundancy has had a job created for her (too good an asset to lose), we think we have had a holiday refund because the credit card company hasn't taken any money this month and my news yesterday is bigger and better than any of you could possibly imagine which just goes to prove that we should never give up and should pursue things which are important to us.
Hope good things happen to all of you today.
So nice to see your spirits lifted nonnie
You too Why. Hope the move goes well.
flutterby and rafichagran lovely to hear from you.
DH and I are back from the hospital. All went well with the blood test and he was in and out in no time. Everyone was masked and he was in a room on his own so hopefully ok. It seemed very strange to be outside again.
How are you today annie?
Hello everyone
Annie how are you? Hope you have peace from next door and are ok.
Doodle glad to hear everything went well for your hubby today.
You sound as though you have had a weight lifted from your shoulders Nonnie, I am so glad for you.
Joyce are you ok? There is a slight easing of the lockdown today regarding seeing family - you will be able to see you darling grandchildren
.
Take care everyone, Rafichagran Flutterby Why Dawn and all who I have missed.
Stay safe, have a peaceful evening and a good nights sleep. God bless xx
Hi all. I had a bit of a wobbly day yesterday but hopefully try and keep it together today. I just want to move and get away from here and having a bit of a panic.
I haven’t lived in that area since 1990 so I am looking forward to it but also a bit apprehensive. I’m sure it will be ok.
Take care all my lovely friends and stay safe and sane. X
Doodle that sounds like it was very well done. Hope the results are good. I'm overdue a routine blood test but not bothered that it has to wait because it is not vital.
Why yes, bound to have a blip and probably over thinking but it is an adventure. When lock down finishes accept every offer even if it is not your kind of thing. Join things, anything just to get you out and about. Once you have a group of friends you can gradually drop the things that don't really interest you. We have done it very successfully and have no regrets.
Hope everyone else is OK. I'm looking out of my study window and a pure blue sky and planning to spend the afternoon topping up my vitamin D.
Hi all x
Sorry didn’t join you yesterday, things were hectic here.
Council refused to do anything about the next door
problem , we have to accept it.
Tesco delivery , bottles, and elder granddaughter decided to try to translate a Welsh poem into English so needed help, a lovely poem by Hedd Wyn, so sad, he sent his last poem from
France ,WW1, for entry into the National Eistefford, won the
bardic chair but was killed in action so never knew ?
annie shame about your neighbour both for her life and those she affects by her behaviour. I doubt if the police will be happy to keep being called round .
Nice for your granddaughter to have you to help with her translation. Sounds like a busy day.....and more bottles.
Sleep well x
annie so sad about the neighbour, hope she gets/accepts help soon.
Feeling tired today but not down so planning to do a few jobs then slob in the garden with my radio.
Positive for today - I have lost the weight I put on earlier this year and am now 1 lb over 'normal' BMI. Next task is to try to stop it wobbling!
Hi all x
My neighbour has a long history of causing upsets, so we have
to accept it, she has support but they can’t stay with her 24 hours, so sad. Her carers have stopped visiting her now, they use to come 3 times a day, she must miss them, a man calls now.
nonnie you will feel tired now all is sorted, amazing how we
get energy when we have to face challenges.
Doodle you live in a flat, do you have a balcony ? And how
are you managing with the leaking sink. On the cheery side
you don’t have to wash 240 bottles , I will have a high water
bill .
Enjoy the day all x
annie yes we do have a balcony with a nice view. We are very grateful for it. At least we can sit out and get some fresh air. We are getting on ok with the sink. I have a washing up bowl in the sink and as long as I remember to empty it in the other small sink at the side we are doing ok. Thank you for asking. I wish there was a way you didn’t have to wash those bottles.
Your neighbour certainly has some issues. Shame about her support.
nonnie yes a restful day is needed I think.
Have a good day all x
Hello everyone, hope all is well.
Annie glad you are doing ok. Shame about the neighbour, she does need help. Difficult.
Quiet day for me today. Granddaughter has just rung, she went to see her mum yesterday, sat in the garden, social distancing in place. I am glad they have seen each other.
I rang the hospital yesterday to ask about my ultra sound scan but there was nothing they could say only we have to wait to hear when we can start up again!
I do have some tidying up and sorting out to do in my box room, but just haven't the energy, its very warm.
Hope everyone has a peaceful day. Take care, stay safe, love to all xx
Doodle glad you have a balcony, I think you have made the
right choice in waiting to call in a plumber, it would be stressful X
lavender I am sure you were pleased your granddaughter
visited her mother. Reminds me of my darling daughter and
her three children, I was always so happy when a visit went well.
I have no idea when I will have an appointment with the
consultant so sympathise with you .
Leave the box room, change of weather towards end of next
Week X
Sounds like everyone is coping a little better at the moment, hope it lasts.
Sounded like a party from our neighbour's garden last night. Whether or not they were a couple of days early I don't mind, it was just good to hear them enjoying themselves. We are thinking of moving the TV to in front of a door from the sitting room to the garden so DS can come and watch football with DS from outside. Still not venturing out ourselves because we don't need to.
Hi all x
Confession, washed some bottles, relaxed on sofa , played a
programme I recorded last night , ‘Jazz Divas’, so relaxed I fell
asleep !
