Hello all, little one didn’t have a very good night, but seem there is some small improvement as the days gone on..

Nonnie I don’t think I’m quite ready to go clothes shopping my knickers will have to last a bit longer, for now anyway ??
Was it strange going into town? Or was it a bit more like normality..
Just going for a walk makes think seem normal, but some people don’t seem to know what distancing means and that worries me, there is a lot more traffic on the roads again.
My positive had a good clear out of clothes ready for the charity shop..

joce sorry your DGD didn’t have a good night but a bit of improvement sounds encouraging. Our thoughts and prayers with her and crazyh’s grandson.
I am fine lavender (sore feet through walking but fine apart from that) hope you and your daughter are ok too.
nonnie glad you enjoyed your trip. We haven’t been near any shops for ages now. Just doing a daily walk and keeping our distance.
annie hope you are ok. Hope you haven’t spent the day washing the unmentionables!

joce I pray for her specifically in addition to the gang. Glad there is small improvement and hope it speeds up.

The only reason I went shopping is that we are hoping to go on holiday and I need to colour my hair and have pants to go under light coloured trousers. I had an accident with all my white ones!

I was very impressed with the social distancing in my town, excellent. I was even stopped from going in one shop because there was already one customer in there. As it was not a small shop I thought they were over doing it but better than the other way round. Once again I am glad I live where I do.

Have a new word to share with you, ‘mare’, my younger granddaughter asked ‘any mares today’, baffled I asked why horses’, seems she means nightmare and as I am prone to mishaps she calls them ‘mares’ , I had a day of them yesterday,

Afternoon all little one definitely on the mend today..

kidney consultant phoned yesterday, she was very nice , could not understand why she was not admitted Friday with how poorly she was.. that doesn’t matter now she is on the mend...thank the Lord ..
Crazy do hope you get some good news for your grandson my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

Annie my little friend doesn't like the rain either, and I know that "look" . When we get back he always runs around like a whirlwind, disappearing under the rug!

nonnie, Sounds as though you had a successful shopping trip. Goodness knows how long it will be before I go in a shop again. Are you going on holiday somewhere nice?
Hello annie my DH is doing fine. Thank you for asking. His feet are a bit troublesome as they swell up during the day (he wears compression socks which help a lot) and he gets eczema type dry patches around his ankles and feet which need constant creaming. He has to be careful as we need to make sure he doesn’t get any leg ulcers which are a side effect of his medication.
I don’t blame your Lottie for not wanting to go out in the rain.
Especially if she is the older one. Why not stay inside in the warm and dry ?. Your granddaughter has come up with a good word. I too wondered why she was talking about horses. Mares doesn’t seem such a scary word as nightmares. Sorry you had a bad day yesterday. Hope today is better.
joce that is good news about your granddaughter. So pleased for you all. Thanks joce I gave my feet a good soaking last night and they are much better today.
crazyH’s little grandson is in my thoughts and prayers too. Hope they all get some good news soon. As you say, anxiety wears you out. Yes it makes me really tired too as does depression. Hope you have a relaxing night tonight.

Joce so pleased she is on the mend but do keep us updated.

Don't know if we are going away or not yet, supposed to be Saturday but our friends live in Europe and still don't kno wif their government will let them come. House we want to rent is on hold until this morning!!

Doodle my cousin's husband has an ankle ulcer, getting better but it has taken a very long time. He also has trouble with his feet but they can't find a cause.

DS & DiL came for dinner last night, it was really lovely to spend time with them. They sat at one end of the table and we at the other. She is looking very well but he looks exhausted. I think he has been working harder in furlough than when he was at work!

Well, another ‘mare’, thought Tuesday’s was enough for this week. But no, today 30 unmentionables, then mug of tea , cross stitching work had slipped behind back of sofa, can’t move sofa, use walking stitch to edge the work along to end of
sofa, very narrow gap, got hand stuck , took about an hour to
get free, wrist very painful. Wrist now in strapping .

Aww dear Annie, your poor hands.. hope they ease soon..
bet it doesn’t help with the unmentionable...

We have had rain and more rain. I don’t mind rain but gets me down when it goes on day after day, just dry for a few hours would be nice.. I was tempted to light the fire to cheer me up.
Maybe too warm for that ?

nonnie yes leg ulcers are difficult to heal that’s why I’m taking care with DH to try and avoid them. How lovely to have family for a meal. Nice to sit and chat in more usual surroundings.

annie a real nightmare situation with your cross-stitch. It makes you wonder how such things happen. Glad you got it out in the end but not without injury it seems. Hope your wrist is better soon.
joce yes we had a lot of rain recently too. However, we went for a walk today with rain forecast we had on our raincoats and hats. It was boiling. Totally exhausted by the time we got home.
Don’t be too hard on yourself lavender. Some days we feel full of get up and go and other days not. It’s difficult to get on with things if you feel tired. Hope you get a good sleep tonight and feel better tomorrow.

annie YES, we are going away! Confirmed yesterday. I finally get to spend time with the family. I put everything out on a bed yesterday, got all the toys out of storage and today I will put most of it back or there won't be room in the car for DH (grin)

That sounds horrible annie, wish there was an answer.

Lavender I know that feeling, you think it will never pass but all I can say is that having got the really nasty thing in my life sorted and lost the excess weight, I do feel somewhat better. I hope that will come to you all.

Hi Doodle I am feeling ok at the moment, but I think I have some big decisions to make, it does add to the anxiety. Hope life is ok for you.

lavender I thing that tired feeling can bring you down, I have alot of paperwork I need to do but cant be bothered. I can just keep the house clean and tidy. I will get round to it though.

Hello everyone. Not been on for a while as I'm finding present situation very stressful but I do look in and think of and pray for you all. Doodle how is your grandson doing? I now have two GS's with difficulties 9 and 15 and this situation is not helping them of course. But onward and upward! Our daughters try hard to keep our spirits up with zoom quizzes and last weekend a car treasure hunt! I know I am very lucky and try to count my blessings but sometimes it is hard
Btw didn't The Liver Birds use Mare - as in she's having a Mare? Showing my age! to you all

Thank you for asking about my DGS. He is a bit up and down but ok I think. Sorry to hear your grandsons are struggling. I have a feeling after this lockdown they won’t be the only ones. It is hard for the children and going back to school will be strange for them. Glad you are keeping in touch and zooming?. Hope your SIL is ok with his work situation. rafichagran hope your situation is sorted out. I know the feeling I have something looming towards the end of the year without a solution at the moment. We have to just carry on and do our best, that is all we can do.

Its been a dull and miserable day today, however, my tiredness from yesterday has gone and I slept well last night.

How is everyone coping ?

It’s been 16 weeks since anyone has been in my home, I find my thinking is slower , lack of conversation. And so many problems with practical things, my dogs need grooming, sleeping on sofa because can’t change bed linen, this affects my hip and knee ,arthritis , no vacuuming done.

The positive - as no one comes into the bungalow the lack of
house cleaning isn’t seen.

Joce how was the birthday cake? I made a fruit cake which I now have to put candles on as GC is convinced he is coming to a birthday party of one of my Dils!

Rafich good luck with the decisions, sometimes we feel a lot better once we have done it and can move forwards.

eilyann hope things improve soon. Difficult when the boys have troubles.

Lavender hope whatever is looming will become easier.

This is my last post for a while, I will be busy with the family but I will keep praying for you all. As a little encouragement - my prayers recently have been prayers of thanks as so much of what I asked for has been answered. I have so much to be thankful for after such a long time and feel very blessed. There is hope out there so please don't give up as I very nearly did. xx

lavender I am ok thank you. Bit worried about having a plumber in the flat next week but we have to get our kitchen sink fixed. It’s been out of use since the start of lockdown.
As DH is shielding he will sit in the bedroom with the window open and the plumber and I will both wear masks.
joce how did the birthday cake turn out?
annie that is not a good situation with you sleeping on the sofa. Do you usually have someone come in to help you?
I know what you mean about no one coming in. I seem to have bits and bobs all over the place. Need to tidy a bit before the plumber comes to survey the kitchen.
