A photograph of your bum, bah that is nothing. Last time I was in hospital I was filmed throughout my operation so the surgeon could use it for training purposes.
I was shaved, primped and manicured before I left home just in case I was less than acceptable for the camera. Yes my film is out there on the web somewhere but I doubt if you will see my face

Some of my photos were used at an international conference which I was fine with until I realised that the husband of another patient I had become friends with attended the conference. Rather forgotten about it and have spoken on the phone to him a few times since. ??‍♀️

I have a nasty itchy lump on my shoulder - but I found a mosquito in the bathroom.

I'll just double up on the antihistamines for now. Pollen allergy can have it's advantages, though. I'm given a nice wide berth when I'm out, coughing and sneezing!

well now seriously, I found a small lump, well not big, just to the side of my anus(is that the correct word/) on my cheek, but close, I only noticed it in the shower.... well I am living on my own now so what to do?

I got the small mirror and tried to see what it looked like

gosh.. wish I hadn`t done that,, saw all of my undersides..

so , as I said seriously, I went on the web,, and said it could be a cyst,,, and give it two weeks and if still there, then to contact the doc..

next day now..yes, I am a worrier,, still there by the feels of it!

My son yesterday asked me seriously (when I'd suggested he cook for once-he's 21!) "But arent you the cook,cleaner,washer up?" And i reminded him we have a fridge magnet that says "oh,I'm sorry you must be confusing me with the maid we don't have!"....you need one of those fridge magnets ladies!

Please take care of photos of such things, my rather technically competent some has set us all up with our mobile phone photos going to a shared place in the cloud, so he says. Means we'll all have a view of all the pictures we take.....

What a lovely laugh this has been! And yes I've had a boil on my bum a couple of times in a really awkward part and DH decided to operate once - there's no dignity!

When being stitched (episiotomy) post twin birth by an old boyfriend (he doctor, me midwife) during the 1970’s. He, sitting between my open legs which were held apart in stirrups ( oh the indignity?) looking straight at my ‘bits’ said “oh dear, comb your hair and put your teeth in, you are looking more like your mother every day”. He thought he was being such a wag!!
Those were the days my friend!

Yes Bluesky, i remember the shock of that too,back in the day when i was having my first child (she was 40 on easter sunday!) And they used to still give you enemas and shaves when you went in to give birth! And the routine of exposing your stitches on your 'tail-end' as the midwives called it...and i was a young wife& mum at 17...such a shock to the system

Polnan, I have the same, and same advice from GP on phone (no photo). Think I have had it before, and it's gone, so will wait and see. A coccyx cushion helps!
