Interesting article popped upon my home screen this morning.
I take 5mg daily with no side effects, so I am pleased that there might be another benefit. Anyone else take it?

I had been taking 5mg of Amlodipine once a day for years. Was diagnosed with AF the Saturday before bank holiday. First thing they did at AF clinic was take me off it because of water retention. Never had any problems with it apart from swollen ankles before getting AF. But apparently AF and Amlodipine is a bad mix.

I'm on it as a cocktail of meds for my blood pressure. My gran had vascular dementia so I'm hoping this will work
