Really angers me that the"private" operation will be done by the same surgeon who is paid to do the NHS one.On his day off !!
My friend discovered this for herself when her hip op was delayed for months and the surgeon she had spoken to at the NHS hospital did it privately within a couple of weeks of her signing up and PAYING for it!

The NHS cannot continue being all things to all people.

Maybe people paying privately should get tax relief for taking some pressure off.
