Swollen ankles

Lots of advice needed please on how to deal with fluid retention in this heatwave. My ankles have become like helium balloons ! Trying to have a walk everyday but also getting breathless easily in the heat.

When he prescribed Amlodipine for raised BP, my GP told me it could make my ankles swell and so it did, at first. Over time, this effect has died down and usually my ankles are still quite youthful.

My ankles swell once I reach 11 stone. Could weight be a factor?

I’m on steriods and my ankles and legs are forever swollen esp in heat

I'm well over 11 stone so quite possibly weight is a contributing factor !!

Ha ha to seeing a doctor! When my ankles were extremely swollen I did just that. He did not so much as glance at my feet and said, “It’s gravity”
Mine always swell in hot weather and it’s always worse if I’ve gained a few pounds.
