AstraZeneca has finally admitted its vaccine can be very dangerous, how long before Moderna and Pfizer follow suit?
Thank goodness these vaccines were not rolled out to young children.
Our SIL is lucky to be alive after a blood clot on each lung after the vaccine.
The NHS refused to say if it was down to the vaccine, a private hospital said they were sure it was vaccine related.
When he tried to claim via BUPA he was told they wouldn’t
pay out on any claim if the patient had had the vaccine within so many days of the illness!
Unfortunately these companies will not be financially responsible it will be the tax payer footing the compensation bill.

Did no one else think 'Big pharma' a was very emotive thing to write.
Where would we be without 'big pharma'?
Weve had every covid injection offered and very pleased to do so. Dh is cev and had his booster last week. Neither of us nor our next door neighbours have had covid. Yes folk have died but millions havent courtesy of covid injections. My friend had leukemia and was offered chemo which definitely extended her life for years a young women having her first chemo at the same time died. Chemo is a very strong poison my question is what do all you anti folk say about chemo deaths.

I am so glad that the truth is finally coming out but I believe it is the tip of the iceberg. I think too few people want to admit the extent to which Big Pharma cynically has us duped into thinking it has our best interests anywhere at heart. It has money at heart, pure and simple, and many, many medications do more harm than good. The only forms of medicine that I trust are surgery (which is often a blessing) and emergency medicine, which saves lives. Apart from that I think we have to be very, very careful. The entire Covid 'thing' is replete with vested interest, hidden agendas and schemes to control and profit from a populace, stirred to panic by the media. Quite apart from the vaccine question, medicines known to be effective, such as hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin (ridiculed respectively as 'bleach' and 'horse medicine') were actually not allowed. Ivermectin, I believe, is in the top ten 'safest medicines' in the WHO organisation listing. Many high-principled doctors of unshakeable integrity lost their livelihoods and their reputations for speaking out. At the time of the pandemic no-one advised us to take Vitamin D or do anything to boost our immune systems naturally - no, it was vaccine, vaccine, vaccine and if you didn't have it you were demonised and treated like a granny-slaying criminal (as I am a granny myself I did not feel guilty about that!). I hope, at last, the mainstream are waking up and will not be sent into hysteria by the next 'pandemic' - bird flu is on the horizon, being 'talked up' to make things difficult for people who keep a few chickens, projected in some quarters to be set to kill 1 in 4 Americans. (many poor souls conditioned, by 'Big Food', to eat stuff that's going to kill them anyway) Please, please be cynical, ask questions, and do not believe the mainstream media.
Just to pick up on your Vitamin D point - my DH who is/was CEV and had to shield was sent Vit. D - it was a Government initiative

We’ve been trying to wake people up for 4 years - the plandemic was a scam - there never was a virus other than the usual flu - hence why Boris et al partied whilst our elderly parents were finished off with midazolam in nursing homes. The biggest and deadliest fraud ever perpetrated on mankind.
If you actually believe this I think you might need some help!

Total stupid, dangerous rubbish. And a huge insult to the families of those who died of COVID! not flu
Blood clots were very rare. The vaccines saved millions of lives. This one has been taken off the market as other vaccines are available for the newer variants. There - fixed it for you.
As a vulnerable person I have had every covid injection offered to me. I have had a sore arm lasting about a day each time and similarly a bit of a headache lasting about a day too. Having seen how some of my friends and family have suffered with covid, luckily only one hospitalised, I am glad I took the opportunity for the vaccinations. Of course it was experimental, any new drug or treatment is an experiment. Even the most rigorous testing cannot say exactly what is going happen the first time humans take any treatment.
SAGO. So sorry this happened ones your relatives, but please read the following…

Certainly there were side effects FOR A FEW, but overall thee vaccines were life-savers
🙄.
All medications have unfortunate side effect for an extremely slim amount of people as all bodies are different. The vaccines saved countless lives worldwide if only it had been available sooner for the people who tragically lost their lives to Covid
southwestgran What! Are you being serious? Please tell me you’re not.

I think people have already forgotten how many people were dying at the start of the pandemic. I guess we’ll never know what would have happened without the vaccines but imo many more people would have continued to die. At the same time we have to accept that any new drug is dangerous for some people and can’t brush it under the carpet that people were adversely affected. Different vaccines were safer for some people but that was never acknowledged.

“The truth^ although terrible for those affected, is a very small truth. The vast majority of us benefitted from the vaccines because they freed us and the rest of the world from lockdowns. Even those who declined to take the vaccine benefitted from the herd immunity the vaccines provided.
Every single medicine ever invented has side effects for some unfortunate people.”
Hear, hear! I feel dreadfully sorry for those who died due to the vaccine. However, the vaccine saved millions of lives worldwide and, without it, I dread to think how Covid would have continued to ravage the world. I have had all vaccines offered to me, and will continue to do so.

Reading the article it states that the reaction is rare and 80 people have died, a very small number compared to covid deaths at the time, it was replaced with vaccines that tackle new variants not because of the deaths.
I’m very sad about these 80, all of them would have been someone’s daughter or son, however I know two people personally who died as a result of Covid prior to the vaccines being rolled out.
Side effects sadly that occur with anything medical, drugs, vaccines and surgery are inevitable, but it’s almost like the few who die protect the many.
Empathy to the OPs SiL and yes if any side effects are proven to be the result of the vaccine the govt should certainly compensate.

Hear hear!
I for one would not think twice about getting vaccinated. Don’t forget it saved millions of lives, and yes, it's been withdrawn now but it was an important initial response. It’s crucial to remember that vaccines undergo rigorous testing and review before they’re approved for public use. Widespread vaccination played a critical role in controlling the spread of the virus and ending the pandemic. When a large percentage of the population is vaccinated, the virus has fewer hosts to infect, which can significantly slow or stop its spread.
Without vaccines, we would have to rely on natural immunity, and a significant portion of the population would contract the virus. This could lead to a high number of severe illnesses and deaths, as well as overwhelming healthcare systems.
It’s worth noting that the benefits of getting vaccinated extend beyond the individual. Vaccination protects not just you, but also those around you, particularly those who are vulnerable.
It’s important to weigh any concerns against the substantial benefits of vaccination, both for ourselves and our communities.

Ah. I didnt notice there were 32 pages! Silly me.
Thanks.
We’ve had all the vaccines offered, I’ve had Covid once, mildly, MrJ hasn’t had it at all, I don’t know of anyone who was seriously ill or died after having the vaccine. I do have a friend who was hospitalised with Covid pre vaccine, he survived.

I have had 6 vaccines and think they were instrumental in saving lives and getting economy going. I certainly felt safer because them, don’t regret any of them. However I won’t be having any more. I’ve had enough. Had Covid four times despite vacinnes. Haven’t been well after most of the vacinnes and just starting to feel myself.
I am immuno-compromised by a pre-existing health condition, my aunt had no such issues.
I had all the covid vaccines, she refused them.
I carried on with my life pretty normally all through the pandemic, my aunt hid away, terrified of catching it.
I came into contact with hundreds of people during that time (primarily in the supermarkets, many of whom could easily have had covid), she saw one of her AC (who had tested negative).
I'm alive and kicking, she caught covid and it killed her.
There will always be dissenters who argue that vaccines are a government plot to control us, but when you see within your own family the effects of not receiving vaccines, it's enough to terrify most sane people.
My mother will not hear a word against the covid vaccine and l would agree that for older people (over seventies, perhaps) it is far safer to have the vaccine than not. The benefits definitely outweigh the risks. It is generally not older people who are suffering from major side effects in any case. I am generally extremely pro-vaccine and had the early covid vaccines with great excitement and relief as a way to overcome this dreadful disease. However, the people affected are younger; usually in the 30-55 age group. I, personally, know two people who have had strokes in that age group and someone else, who was extremely fit, collapse and die. Another friend, who is my age has developed an extremely rare form of leukaemia and has another friend who has suddenly developed the same type. My mother's response, as I expect will be that of many here, is that there have always been unexplained deaths. I agree, but the sheer number of people l know who were younger and healthy suddenly dying is not normal. People all over the world are saying the same thing. The sheer numbers are beyond what could usually be expected. I will have my normal flu jabs, but will not be having any more covid vaccines for the foreseeable future. However, I will reiterate l think it is important for the elderly and immunocompromised.
