I pay £35 for home visits, my podiatrist soaks my feet in Lavender disinfectant, then cuts my nails, takes off any hard skin and gives them a massage. It takes about an hour and she comes every 8 weeks.

I think I paid £40 last time I went so for a visiting podiatrist who has to factor in fuel, mileage, travelling time, her own equipment , £35 sounds about right.

Would you have a beauty salon near you that does express pedicures? I go to one and she charges £35 for half an hour.

Costs me £38 to get my feet done. It's a bit more than just cutting nails though. It takes 30 minutes and I go every six weeks or so.

My husband goes to a local podiatrist every six weeks and pays £60.
Rural Berkshire prices!

I was actually talking about this in the hairdresser's the other day. My R.A means I can't reach my toes and the the last time I asked DH to do it, he nearly cut off my toe! 😱

We have a podiatrist near me, but the waiting lists are long, therefore I am looking for someone to come to my home.

Because of my back surgery I cannot cut my own toenails. Someone comes in to do this every 8 weeks and charges £35. She is here and gone in a flash and it seems a lot of money for a few minutes work! I live rurally so I guess fuel has to feature in the cost.

What do others pay?
