Is that the correct spelling? Just had an operation and have been left with what feels like enormous lumps around my anus. It is expected post op to take laxatives. I’ve done that, prunes, cold water on said area in shower, creams and suppositories. Any other advice anyone can give? In week 5 of recovery of pelvic floor repair.

Mumonamission

In a small pot, boil up thick slices of fresh ginger about 4 inches worth and water. The water will turn brownish in colour, let it cool add a couple of teaspoons of honey if you like. Every morning put a couple of slices of fresh ginger in a cup of hot water add a teaspoon of fresh lemon - keeps everything regular.

Mumonamission I thought you were going to tell me to apply this 🤣🤣🤣

If you have thromrobe hemorrhoids which are outside the annus these can be extremely painful and are filled with a blood clot.
You need to see your GP, he may try to put them back if possible if you couldn't.
In future if you have one coming down again it's best to try and put it back yourself, use Vaseline.
I've had this problem for over 60 years, I've found over the years that different food can create this problem.

I like to use Andrew’s liver salt to help with constipation and bloating. 2spoonfuls in warm water before bed, and good motion the next morning. Get well soon.

Snap - I have them as well, right now. Had it several years ago, but it settled . It’s bleeding again. If it doesn’t settle, I will ask for a Doctor’s appointment

Inulin powder regularly and lots of water regularly.
I feel like a veteran sufferer, I do all I can to keep them at bay, I’ve had past surgery and it is the worst thing.
