Has anyone had tooth roots removed. My crown snapped off and just the roots to be extracted.
How bad is it?
Dreading it.

Thanks to you all. I’m in tomorrow afternoon. Think of me! Main worries are that I am on blood thinners . Dentist has told me not to take one on the morning , so hopefully not a massacre and secondly some years ago I had an extraction and ended up with dry socket. Not an experience I would want to repeat .

I'm having a tooth removed, maybe 2 with sedation on the NHS. I've waited 10 months
Absolutely dreading it, need sedation for phobia and gag reflex. Scared for the whole thing!

Been there with dry socket, the most painful experience of my life! Good luck, you'll be fine.

Hope the recovery goes well, Sikipoo. Keep up with the salt water rinses, they should help with the healing process.

Recently had one of my back teeth extracted. Was given 3 numbing injections then it took my dentist about 3 - 4 minutes to pull it out painlessly.
