Cleaning between tiles in bathroom

Can anyone tell me an easy way to clean between the ceramic tiles in my bathroom? The grout goes black and the only way I can get it reasonably clean is with detergent and an old toothbrush. Is there an easier way?

When my bathroom was remodeled black grout was used around the white subway tiles....still have to clean but not so obsessively as I did I the past.grin

This is such a problem...in the Kitchen as well. I have just had a new shower cubicle fitted, and had dark grey grouting, looks effective and modern... A bit of a messy job for the installer though.
