Spin mops

It's getting harder to wring out floor mops these days. I've tried the traditional bucket with side bit, I've tried squeezy mops of various types.

But nothing really works and my (Karndean) floors are too wet when I've washed them. My cleaner does no better.

I've searched online, looking for something like the Karcher thingmy I use to dry off my windows but all I can find is their steam cleaners which are not recommended for my type of flooring.

Been looking at these spinning mops with a pedal bucket.

Anyone used these or any other suggestions welcome.

I have a Lakeland spray mop for the kitchen, it works a treat on the Amtico. I also have a couple of Lidl spray mops for the tiles in other bits of the house. I just take the cleaning pad off and bung it in the washing machine.

Craft cat, are your Lino type floors Karndean? I was told that a steam mop might damage the glue which sticks them down. If the steam mops works I am really tempted, I also have real wood floors.

I use a steam mop on my solid wood floors. The very knowledgable person we bought it from, and who also fitted it, said it was fine to use a steam mop but to make sure it isn't left standing on the floor (use the plastic stand provided). Have used it for 3 years now and floor is fine.

Groupon has the whizzy mop with spare mopheads. Mine works fine so far...
