I was listening to the radio and there had been a survey about how often do you wash your bed linen. I was shocked at the results as the majority of single men wash their bed linen four times a year!! the majority of single women wash theres every 3-4 weeks.
Im single and do mine every week and my mother was the same. Am I a clean freak grin

I do sheets and towels when it occurs to me that it's about time. Which could be rather more than a week. I don't have set days for anything.

Spare bed gets changed when guests are due, though if it's the same guest as last time, and it was only a night or two, I won't waste the water or electricity.

Someone on mumsnet once said she washed all her towels after every single use, and couldn't possibly ever use the same one as her husband, since it would have his dead skin cells on it.
You do wonder how such clean freaks ever manage to have sex - maybe they go over him with Dettol and a Brillo pad first.

Because we have three dogs and a cat I am always cleaning and washing their bedding to ensure there are no animal smells in the house. I vacuum thoroughly at least once a day upstairs and down. My life would be so much easier without pets but they give us lots of love and pleasure.

My step daughter has 4 children and told me that everyone has a clean towel every day
All she ever doesis wash towels
I change our bed linen weekly and have top and bottom. Sheets - puppy insists in climbing in as soon as I get out! And there lies husband and puppy waiting for a cuppa
I change his bath towels practically daily as he is so hairy (gorilla comes to mind) that the towels are unusable by anyone else after him
Tea towels and downstairs loo prov depending on how I feel
Isn't it lovely that it's most people's to dream of winning the lottery and having really good clean bed linen every day - me too - my idea of bliss

During the war, we were glad to have one or two handed-down towels in our family.

A lot of hotels have notices about "do you need to wash your towels every day." I really try to avoid that but in most hotels there is never enough space to hang your towels up so they will dry.
CBA to worry if the pillow cases match. I am not running a B & B. I have far more interesting things to do. Usually involving plants.

The towels are sometimes a bit inadequate too Nelliemoser so, unless there is a heated towel rail there's no option except to ask for clean ones each day otherwise you'd be trying to dry yourself on a slightly damp towel.

My DH uses the en suite and I use the bathroom, I change the towels about every 4 - 5 days, I could never use the same towel as my DH in the bathroom, perish the thought! Bed linen once a week.
