Washing ceilings and walls

No relation to Aggie of Kim and Aggie , I am a mucky ole pup and never washed a ceiling in my life ................ but I have stepped in many a bucket

Like chewbacca I still do all the painting and I've never washed a ceiling before painting, there's no need.

Wow! I'm quite a slob and do as little housework as possible, but I have always washed ceilings and walls before painting them. The living room ceiling usually looks a bit mucky because of the coal fire.
I am working myself up to a bit of decorating soon, though, and will reconsider my approach to washing of ceilings and walls.

I met the Kim and Aggie Aggie on an escalator at Harvey Nicks in Leeds. We were both heading for Yo Sushi on the top floor, which was closed for refurbishment when we got there, so we had a nice chat as to where to go instead. She was lovely, but I notice she didn't follow us to Little Tokyo . I'm surprised this tale didn't make the Grazie Celebrity pages actually....

You're joking, Jalima! I haven't even mastered how to get a selfie of DH and me together without at least one of us looking as though we've dislocated our neck.

Oh, have a go, it's good for a laugh. I've saved some of my attempts just to cheer up a grey day. Me staring wide-eyed up at the camera as if a train's bearing down on me. DH looming up behind like an escaped lunatic. Both of us blocking out the beautiful view behind us...

And all our spots and wrinkles in glorious close up

I look as if I've escaped from somewhere in any photo - a kind of desperate half smile
not like that one

I just clean the dust from walls with dustpan brush before painting on them.

I thought I was house proud but never washed a ceiling other than the kitchen. I think removing dust and cobwebs is sufficient.
Aggie that was funny and so true.

you wash them cos their dirty, dirt stays underneath.
