Can anyone suggest a good way of getting rid of the tiny bits of tissue that are left on our clothes after accidentally leaving a tissue in a pocket while washing? Grateful for any ideas!

Could be worse. Might have been a winning lottery ticket that ended up in the wash. Now that would be a catastrophe!

Oh - doesn't bear thinking about mrsmopp . The sobbing and hysterics would need boxes and boxes of tissues!!! sad Mind you if you pick random numbers you would never know if it was a winner ... not sure if that's better or worse.

This has literally just happened to me. Shake everything outside. Then if you do ironing, wrap sellotape or similar around your opposite hand and treat each garment individually while swearing a lot ☺

Agus on return from holiday I somehow managed to wash a pair of my OH's beige shorts with a red paper napkin in the pocket (he had used it as a handkerchief in the restaurant on our last night). Not only a big blob of red tissue in the pocket but all one side of his shorts were stained pink. angry

HillyNOh no! That was a disaster compared to mine.
So annoying.

I tried bleaching the white jeans to no avail. May dye them navy blue or as both GDS and I are experimenting with tie dye, may give that a shot just for fun as I may keep them for working in the garden. Definitely not for wearing in publicgrin.
