Lightweight vacuum. What should I buy?

"Henry" is too heavy for me now. Can anyone recommend a lightweight vacuum please? Only have carpets in bedrooms but normally vacuum the hardwood flooring which is everywhere else. Don't want to spend more than £200 ideally or am I being unrealistic?

The Lidl one sounds like a bargain.

After 2 unsuccessful Dysons over the years, I wouldn`t have another one given me! I have the GTECH air ram and the small Multi and love them, but I`ve just purchased a smaller, lighter GTECH to keep upstairs, it was only £60, reduced from £80, and is ideal for upstairs. The Air Ram is lightweight, but still awkward to manipulate upstairs on the stairlift, as our staircase is very narrow and steep.

Another vote for Gtech. I managed to break part of the handle, rang them and a replacement part was delivered next day. Excellent service.

The AirRam is light but powerful, a friend borrowed mine to test it and couldn't believe how different her carpet looked after using it!

I also have the hand held and I can easily do the stairs in minutes without the struggle I had when I used the Dyson upright.

No need to buy overpriced Dyson.
There are plenty of competitors that are cheaper and just as good.
Rechargeable electric is the way to go.
You only need a two in one if you hoover your car and have three floors of stairs.

My DH has just bought a beldray which he can’t stop using! More power to his elbow, I say!
