Decluttering my wardrobes

I have 1 large and 2 small wardrobes which are stuffed full on clothes.

I am not a big spender but we are lucky enough to have a number of excellent charity shops in my small town and the next town, hence my large collection of clothes, some I only wear perhaps once a year if that.

I am very keen (or so I say) to get rid of some clothes so that I can at least move the clothes about instead of forcing them into a space not big enough.

Anyone got any ideas on getting motivated to start the cull ?

Yay gillybob! I’m actually envious that you had your sisters stuff to do ? We would have had a great business!

And I do the let’s go shopping for the key piece that will pull this all together.......

Do any of your charity shops take rags i.e. clothes not good enough to sell NanKate.? Ours do, I took three dustbin bags full for a friend the other day, Sue Ryder pleased to accept them.

I've just de cluttering my clothes and shoes. Ive just collected loads over the years. I wore items for a day and if I didn't feel fabulous in it or comfortable it went straight to the charity shop!

Get rid of anything you haven't worn for two years.

Perhaps ask a friend to help you. She might like to have some of the clothes.

We have a Salvation Army tank, which apparently sorts the decent clothes from the rags. I usually take the best things to a shop though.
