Best cotton sheets to buy? Help!

I’m wanting new sheets and duvet cover. Any advice on the best ones out there? I don’t ever iron sheets so don’t want to end up buying ones that crease. I’m fancying Egyptian cotton as they are cooler but which ones? There is often far too much choice these days!
Many thanks in advance.

Just bought Dunelm extra deep sheets as couldn’t fit previous sheets over mattress topper. They are good! Fitted, when washed, line dried, not noticed any creases. Comfy to sleep on.

I stayed with old bf at his parent’s B&B. Before going I asked his mum, would she like me to strip bed, but she said no, I was only on bed one night?? Glad I wasn’t going next!
But she irons on bed! Takes seconds and looks just as good
Have done it ever since

kwest TKMaxx do a wide range of bedding and some is excellent quality. It's just a case of pot luck, though, never a good idea going in there with a preconceived idea of what to you want to buy or them having the right colour.
Their sister store, Homesense, do more in the household range.

I find that if you dry sheets outside they don't crease too badly.

I always buy the cheapest I can find, as long as they are 100% cotton.

Ikea have good quality sheets and duvet covers.

That's my thing, I always buy cotton sheets in Ikea and dry them outside after a good washing. It smells good, it feels good and it is relatively cheap

For a crisp, wrinkle free bed sheet, buy the ones with elasticated corners, just make sure you get the right size though. If you don't iron the sheets, avoid the ones with a valance, unless you tuck the valance under the mattress.

I bought pure egyptian cotton bedding, never again!! it creases very badly when washed and its a nightmare to iron as the creases dont iron out!!

I bought some king size sheets from Next which are beautifully soft and don't crease.

I also have some single ones from Bensons for Beds equally good if not better.

Aldi sateen cotton bedding is lovely and feels more expensive than it is! I stocked up recently in the sale. I only ever iron bedding if we have guests!

I buy Dunelm or Tesco Egyptian cotton. Don't iron bottom sheet. Sometimes I just iron the bit of the top sheet that you can see when it's folded over duvet. blush

Like grandtante - I look for the cheapest :
My Ikea linen is now about 15 years old plus and washes beautifully .

I also bought beautiful silky feel Egyption cotton sheets from Wilko .
I don't know if they still stock them .
