I must admit I’m a loather of shower curtains, much prefer a glass screen, remember having a shower curtain when I was around 5 or 6 years old, the thing used to billow out ?? Any one else

I’m clearly in the minority because I prefer a curtain. Don’t like screens at all. ?‍♀️

Can’t bear shower screens. We live in a very hard water area and screens always look vile. I have a white curtain that gets washed regularly, certainly isn’t mouldy. In the shower I just tuck it into the grab handle on the bath so it never wraps around me. I’d much rather chuck a curtain in the washing machine than faf about with cleaning a screen as a recent post illustrates!

Use a shower spray when wet no problem at all cleans well

We use the spray and the rubber wiper thing. But the glass is still not clear. And you have to dry the edges after using the wiper. A shower curtain you just put in the machine. I do like a walk in shower though.

Another shower spray user. I’ve just bought a large container of white wine vinegar from Amazon to make my own.

I’ll be reintroduced to shower curtains when we move. Both bathrooms have them! We are intending to change one bath for a walk in shower so then it’s back to a shower screen.

Only ever had a curtain like dannierae because of the position of the bath
Never had any trouble with it

Nothing wrong with having a preference but how lucky to have a shower to worry about I bet many people in substandard damp ‘falling to pieces’ housing in this country would love one curtain or not

You're right Bluebelle. We are very fortunate.

‘like’ both. Shower Curtain over bath as soon as wet sticks to bath so doesn’t touch me. Love being able to machine wash it and update bathroom look with different colours

Shower screen lovely when new but ohh the expense of keeping it sparkling in hard water area.

I have three shower curtains so can change regularly and they all go in WM so no hassle to keep clean. They are not plastic and feel almost like fabric. Never cling to me or wrap around me. My shower is over the bath so a curtain does the job perfectly.

Glass shower screens are the Devil’s spawn to me and I have TWO, urged on by my daughter. They just bring extra work as far as I’m concerned.
So I have rid myself of the bother by hanging a large lightweight plastic tablecloth over the screen. The glass screen remains immaculate and I just take it off for visitors ??

Shower curtains for me everytime. 100% polyester so like material. washable. No clinging like the horrible plastic ones. Only £5 each so have two on the go.

I use shower curtain but I always make sure I keep them spread open (as if I was in the shower)so that it doesn't get mould on it.
