I have been really pleased with my halo capsule but lately it has started making a funny noise and now it’s starting spitting some dirt out!! I am actually a bit scared to use it now in case it explodes!..?‍♀️… I did find a thread about this but when I went to go on it it said “this thread is over a year old why don’t you start a new one?”So l have ?

Another vote for Gtech

I have had two Dyson cordless. Both broke just outside of the two year guarantee. Friend bought a G Tech and exactly the same. I now have a corded Shark. Brilliant!

Not heard anything yet from halo so I am seriously considering getting a Gtech..?

Been happy with my Dyson. I suppose it’s down to personal preference. I can’t comment on the newer dyson cordless though - mines about 4 years old.

I've got a cordless Shark Shinamae, copes well with dog and cat hair! Do wish I'd kept my Henry as well though for 'deep cleaning'. Think I told you I rescued a box out of the cellar with him before I moved.

I love my Dyson cordless. It was expensive but I love it and it came top in the Which review.

I have never had a Henry but they are very popular we’ve even got one in our care home but I haven’t got the room to store it here as I have moved downstairs and made my dining room into my bedroom space is at a premium. It’s not through ill health that I am downstairs it’s purely because my son and his girlfriend live here and I gave up my bedroom so they could have a lounge and bedroom upstairs.. my idea

I have a GTech and it suits me well. Reasonable price too - compared to Shark or Dyson. The after sales service from GTech is superb - very quick delivery of a replacement part if needed.

Nothing beats a Henry, comes close. I had to have a stick one as I couldn’t lug Henry around. My Dyson is top of the range and have had it a few months, it is very light and picks up everything but I miss the deep clean of Henry, which lifted the carpet on high clean. How long do these vacuums last does anyone know, Henry is 20 years old and going strong. Someone I know had a g tech and it broke after a couple of months by post for her to fit. I hope that doesn’t happen with my Dyson, so fingers crossed.

I've had my Gtech for at least five years and it's still going strong. It is the perfect vacuum cleaner for my house and so light and easy to use.

Another GN not recommending a Dyson. A big and very expensive disappointment.
