In praise of Gtech

I had a problem with my 3 year old Gtech cleaner cutting out. I phoned customer support this morning and was put straight through to an advisor. A really helpful lady instructed me how to take various bits apart - whilst she stayed on the phone - so we could pinpoint the problem. It was decided I need a new head unit. I paid her and it's been delivered tomorrow!
I'm slightly stunned by their efficiency! (It's just taken me 2 weeks to get a solicitor to arrange to return our old wills!)

Thanks for all the useful information. I've just ordered a GTec Mk2 the pet one, to pick up from Argos this afternoon. It's got to be better than my old heavy Dyson.

Is there anything better than a “pet hair” cordless dyson stick? It is by far the best investment I have made in my life!

Four years old and still like new. Better than any full sized vacuum I’ve ever had. I need lightweight, maneuverable because of my arthritis.

Suction so strong my 😻 runs for her life.
Is Gtech a British brand?
USA Gundy

If there is a GTech version of any appliance then that's what I buy, hedge trimmer, strimmer, air ram, stick vacuum. They always tend to be the lightest in weight, work well and the customer service is second to none.

Yes Gundy, GTech USA British brand but sure you can buy online in the US.

I love my Halo cordless vacuum cleaner.
So light and convenient and socks like a good'un.

grandMattie

Sounds great. Tipping me towards one as I have decided to ditch my Dyson ball as it’s too heavy now, also I have moved to a tiny flat, it’s redundant.

The Gtech will be perfect for your new flat GrandMattie. I guarantee you will love it. smile

I dumped my Dyson ball for a GTech. Couldn't be happier with it. It's great. I've just had a quick whiz round with it as visitors due. Easy peasy! Get a GTech you'll be glad you did. PS I'm not a paid advert - just a convert. smile

You do have to empty them and wash the filter quite often. But that isn’t a problem.

Another plus for my G Tech. I used the small hand held one to suck up a wasp in the living room the other day. I try not to hurt them but my dog is very allergic and a sting means rushing to the vet for an emergency appointment so if I can’t get them out of the house easily I do have to kill them. Anyway it sucked it up and I released it unharmed ( but probably slightly confused) into the garden. Did the same with a moth the next day.

Oh nanny2507 you did make me smile with the post you have a van, that made my day! I agree I’m actually wondering about the g tech there are several models out there, deciding which to get myself. I think I’ve exhausted most brands

I’m another fan of Gtech! Customer service excellent. Great advice & quick delivery of replacement parts needed. Have 2 now- each end of the house. Also have the Gtech hand held vac which is great for little jobs. Will def buy another when either expires if they can’t be mended
