Agree there is no excuse for fly tipping. That includes blowing all the autumn leaves into heaps in the street, clogging up drains and causing wet, slimy patches when it rains.
I see red every time I see a woman near me with her leaf blower blowing all the rubbish from her garden out into the road. I pointed out to her she was fly tipping and she said 'Don't be ridiculous, it's just some leaves'.The wind blows everyone else's leaves into our garden!
There are some large trees, too, and the leaves pile up at the front door and garage door.
Even the other day, we were clearing dead leaves!
Yes we're the end of a cul-de-sac and we get piles of leaves as there are a lot of trees around. Autumn is busy but we are clearing them up all year round.
Sadly we also get all the loose rubbish that is left lying around - I know it's not ours because it's not stuff we buy.
Still, it's a small price to pay for the privilege of living in such a quiet, private little spot with no cars passing by
