If you were given £10k to spend on your bedroom , what would you buy?

An extension! We are in a bungalow so it's a possibility.

I really wouldn’t spend it on any room in the house. I’d go on a good holiday.

How much would a new carpet and a mattress cost?
I would have it redecorated and new curtains. A holiday would be good.
Anything left? New pyjamas, a merino dressing gown and slippers.

My answer is fitted furniture, new bed, big big telly and a bottle of fizz 🍾🥂

A new bed. New doors for my wardrobe. New carpet and curtains and a lovely little chair.

Half of it on a re-design of my garden with summer-house built in place of my greenhouse and veg beds (using all my existing border plants, so no expense there) and the other half to my girls.

I could spend that 10 thousand on my bedroom, actually, now I come to think of it.
The door opens the wrong way, with the light swirch behind it, so you have to shut the door to turn the switch on.
The switch is upside down
. I'd still plump for a new kitchen, though.

A new en suite shower room. Mine needs an upgrade but I can't afford to do it.

Air conditioning

A trip along the Silk Road, then some new shoes.
If there’s any left , LOTS of 1m pieces of fabric for patchworking.

A new bed. I’d also like flat pelmets over the windows. We’ve fairly recently spent much less than that on fitted wardrobes and dressing table; the carpet is new. All we need is a new bed! Oh and I’d have the en-suite decorated.

I'd have a total refurb-bliss and the air con like sodapop. It's the room that really needs it. Sweet dreams tonight imagining it.

Decorating, a new carpet and new pendant light fittings...
But I have other things more urgent/ fun!
