Not really amazed, Frank. It's got to be easier cycling to work if you live in London than driving or using public transport.

HUNTERF Mon 05-Aug-13 21:52:13

Ana

You are correct. You may be amazed there are a lot of cyclists living in expensive London flats.
£2,000,000 plus.

Frank

Ana Mon 05-Aug-13 21:25:17

If you're paying that much, I'd have thought a secure bike room would be the least you could expect! grin

NfkDumpling Mon 05-Aug-13 21:22:46

A secure bike room - that's posh. I thought it was customary to keep ones bike on the balcony.

glammanana Mon 05-Aug-13 16:02:32

There you go biker you can't be fairer than that can you ? grin

HUNTERF Mon 05-Aug-13 15:21:22

bikergran

Strangely enough I visited a similar flat when I worked in London and there was a secure bike room at ground level so it may pay to enquire.

Snap frank !!

I have not got the money to buy that flat.
It is not suitable for me anyway.

You'd have to pay me an awful lot of money to live there! I kept expecting Donald Trump to loom up in one of the photos. I don't think I'd quite fit in with my comfy trousers and ravelled jumpers.

Elegran Sat 03-Aug-13 16:37:02

What a colourless empty space to live in. Not a home - no brightness, no comfort, no books, paintings, ornaments, no evidence of hobbies, of anyone doing anything in the rooms.

FlicketyB Sat 03-Aug-13 16:08:02

ps Frank I do appreciate this thread, there is nothing so consoling as seeing those with more money than sense innocently advertising this fact.

FlicketyB Sat 03-Aug-13 16:06:38

What an awful lot of money for such a dull and uninteresting looking property. Do you think it is on the market because the last owner was driven to such deep despair by the colourless interior he jumped from his balcony? His wardrobe was probably full of matching black and grey clothes.

You would think if you had this kind of money you could afford to buy taste.

sunseeker Sat 03-Aug-13 08:36:41

Thanks for the link Frank but I think I prefer my old cottage!

absent Sat 03-Aug-13 03:40:13

phoenix It might be a granddad who shows an interest in this monstrosity, in which case he will have to watch out for elderly floozies. grin

Anne58 Fri 02-Aug-13 23:49:48

Come on, admit it frank you're just waiting to see if a GN'er shows an interest, then you can suddenly offer to be her "fancy man" (ooh how I love that antiquated phrase!)

gillybob Fri 02-Aug-13 23:26:51

Methinks they worked in a bank and have a nice London pension.

absent Fri 02-Aug-13 23:16:32

It's hideous. How do fools and their money get together in the first place?

Charleygirl Fri 02-Aug-13 22:54:06

NfkDumpling- I think that would be ideal. If you were not in and it rained, at least your washing would be rescued.

NfkDumpling Fri 02-Aug-13 21:39:18

On a line across to the flat opposite?

glammanana Fri 02-Aug-13 21:30:12

NDumpling never mind your veggies sweetie, where would I hang my washing ?

merlotgran Fri 02-Aug-13 21:25:39

The only interesting thing about this thread title is that it's followed by compulsory sterilisation. hmm

NfkDumpling Fri 02-Aug-13 21:17:53

The balcony looks awfully small. Where could I grow my veggies?

Galen Fri 02-Aug-13 20:25:22

Too true!!!!!!!!
