I might buy 2 one for DH and I and the other for the family.

Ariadne Fri 02-Aug-13 17:25:12

Yawn...

glammanana Fri 02-Aug-13 18:48:30

zzzzz's who ever taught him how to "blue" links ?

Stansgran Fri 02-Aug-13 18:48:44

But who's the landlord? I prefer the French chateau for under £500k. An absolute snip.

HUNTERF Fri 02-Aug-13 19:53:21

Well I am trying to help Gransnetters out by telling them all this useful information and they don't seem to appreciate my efforts.

Too true!!!!!!!!

NfkDumpling Fri 02-Aug-13 21:17:53

The balcony looks awfully small. Where could I grow my veggies?

merlotgran Fri 02-Aug-13 21:25:39

The only interesting thing about this thread title is that it's followed by compulsory sterilisation. hmm

glammanana Fri 02-Aug-13 21:30:12

NDumpling never mind your veggies sweetie, where would I hang my washing ?

NfkDumpling Fri 02-Aug-13 21:39:18

On a line across to the flat opposite?

Charleygirl Fri 02-Aug-13 22:54:06

NfkDumpling- I think that would be ideal. If you were not in and it rained, at least your washing would be rescued.

It's hideous. How do fools and their money get together in the first place?

gillybob Fri 02-Aug-13 23:26:51

Methinks they worked in a bank and have a nice London pension.

Come on, admit it frank you're just waiting to see if a GN'er shows an interest, then you can suddenly offer to be her "fancy man" (ooh how I love that antiquated phrase!)

absent Sat 03-Aug-13 03:40:13

phoenix It might be a granddad who shows an interest in this monstrosity, in which case he will have to watch out for elderly floozies. grin

sunseeker Sat 03-Aug-13 08:36:41

Thanks for the link Frank but I think I prefer my old cottage!

FlicketyB Sat 03-Aug-13 16:06:38

What an awful lot of money for such a dull and uninteresting looking property. Do you think it is on the market because the last owner was driven to such deep despair by the colourless interior he jumped from his balcony? His wardrobe was probably full of matching black and grey clothes.

You would think if you had this kind of money you could afford to buy taste.

FlicketyB Sat 03-Aug-13 16:08:02

ps Frank I do appreciate this thread, there is nothing so consoling as seeing those with more money than sense innocently advertising this fact.

Elegran Sat 03-Aug-13 16:37:02

What a colourless empty space to live in. Not a home - no brightness, no comfort, no books, paintings, ornaments, no evidence of hobbies, of anyone doing anything in the rooms.

vegasmags Sat 03-Aug-13 17:04:14

You'd have to pay me an awful lot of money to live there! I kept expecting Donald Trump to loom up in one of the photos. I don't think I'd quite fit in with my comfy trousers and ravelled jumpers.

HUNTERF Sun 04-Aug-13 19:02:26

I have not got the money to buy that flat.
It is not suitable for me anyway.
