Like Dutch tulip mania? All very exciting until the inevitable crash. See graph of Gouda tulip bulb prices, Dec 1 1634 to Feb 5 1637

And like the South Sea Bubble? If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Oh so true. Unfortunately, for some, making a quick buck overrides commonsense.

You’ve got to know when to hold them
Know when to fold them
Know when to walk away
Know when to run. 🎼🎼🎼🎼

My friend's very brilliant son worked in computers and got into Bitcoin at the beginning. Literally made a fortune and hasn't worked since.

The problem with all crypto currencies is they are unregulated which leaves them open to crooks who will take your money and laugh about it.

Expect no sympathy when you loose your shirt or blouse.

Mainstream financial exchanges are also bad there is a lot of insider dealing goes on, it’s illegal of course and offenders when caught get jailed but that’s no consolation to you, the money has gone.

I invested part of a legacy in Bitcoin but only as much as I was prepared to lose. Did quite well and bought the house I was renting when the owner wanted a quick sale. I still invest modestly in the markets but not in bitcoin nowadays. I am not a natural gambler.
