I don`t want folk to think that I don`t want to come, because I`d like nothing better, but as I don`t have my little childminding job anymore, I also don`t have any money of my own either. I`ve priced up the train fare to Darlington, and can`t understand why it`s almost double the fare to Newcastle, and I`m afraid that £92 is rather a lot for a day, or part day, out. I`ll console myself with the thoughts of you all having a great time.

Definitely coming. Don't have a major preference. However, it is probably best if you don't take me back to somewhere where I have to apologise for the last time I was there. Happy to fall in with what suits everyone else as long as there isn't going to be too much travelling around on public transport. I'm just looking forward to seeing everyone.

We are off for a walk I have been waiting all morning for DH to get the baking bug out of his system..... why does he do that when I am trying to be good!!!

I think I have lost the plot a little, I will have to go back and do a head count. If we dont want a trek probably the Quayside is best as we have endless choice there.

Bumping this again.

My DD has a day's leave today, so I have had a quiet day. DGS has had a few bad days (and grandma and grandad a few exhausting ones). I have certainly been sleeping well - it's more tiring when you can't get out, I find. I am keeping my fingers crossed about the shingles, but we've both had chickenpox and didn't have any problems when DD and DS had it 30 years ago.
