It is sure to be more entertaining than the U3A Class I would otherwise be going to. I am looking forward to that.

Sadly, I'm not going to be able to make it after all. A friend has lost her husband of 47 years and the funeral is to take place on the 12th. She has asked me to stay overnight afterwards, and I'm unlikely to be able to get away in time for the meet up. I will look forward to the next one, though.

Hi hope you all had a good lunch. I volunteer for a national charity and was due to do a school presentation which I could not get anyone to cover. I arrived at the school to be told that they had cancelled on Monday as Ofsted were visiting. The office had forgot to pass on the message. To say I was not pleased is an understatement! I could have come!

I hope you all had a lovely time - was gutted to miss it and already looking forward to the next one.

We did have a lovely get-together and missed you all, so I hope you can make it next time. We'll fix another one up in the new year.
