Pssst - wanna be on the map?

A while ago I briefly tried out Google's My Map, where you can make a map of your own with markers on it, and share it with friends. About a dozen of us had fun putting flags on or near our locations.

We have been getting a lot of very heavy threads recently, and it is about time for a little light relief, so I have started a new map.

They have now improved the way the markers are added, so it is very easy to do. If you fancy joining in, send me a PM and I will reply with a note of how to add yourself, and a link to the page.

A few things first:-

1) This is not an official Gransnet project, it is just a private bit of fun.
2) You could plant the (virtual) flag right on your house, if you don't mind everyone knowing where you live, or you could put it nearby, say in the centre of your town, or at a local landmark, or in the middle of your county.
3) You could label the flag with your username if you are very brave, or you could use an initial, or another pseudonym, or a pet's name.
4) You can remove it if you change your mind.

Is anyone interested?

I can't access the map again, Elegran. I know you've explained to me already, but could you tell me again? Do I go on Google maps, or something? I thought I'd bookmarked it confused.
