The date is set so I have started this new thread just for people to let me know if they are coming and I can then book a venue where we can have lunch and a good chat.

Please let me know as soon as you can. Thank you.

Charleygirl: it is in Sherwood St

suzied Thu 05-May-16 12:49:46

I would come but Tuesday is the one day I can't do.

michellehargreaves Thu 05-May-16 12:58:15

Has anyone done a headcount? We don't need to book a table until a week before at the earliest. (Zedel is almost my second home !)
I will be having my foot op on 6th June, but even if I don't feel I can make it on the tube, I could always get a cab.

michellehargreaves Thu 05-May-16 13:19:06

I would offer to take over the organisation but the op might just get in the way, safer for one of you I think.
Would any of you SW London ladies fancy an informal get together between 31st May and 5th June?

Grannyknot Thu 05-May-16 14:58:42

Shall we take a count for starters?

I'm happy to meet in the SW area too - those dates are fine.

I'm sorry I cannot offer to organise anything ...

I could do either May 31st or the original date of 14th June . I'm in Teddington, where are the rest of you?

michellehargreaves Thu 05-May-16 20:35:30

I'm in Sheen.

Penstemmon Fri 06-May-16 19:27:32

I would love to join you but have fixed DGC commitments on Tuesday/Thursdays so cannot do 14th .

Maybe next time. Have fun.

I'm a definite for the 14 June, I live in West Malling, Kent, so would prefer the central meet up, the 31 May is half term so DGC duties. Don't really know the area where the proposed restaurant is, so wouldn't feel confident about organising!

Hi to you all ?
Just joined the site . Coould I join you guys next time you meet up?
Would definitely join you if I wasn't going to a bachelorette afternoon tea psrty on that day but looking forwards to other opportunities. ?

What is the head count, do we know ?

Charleygirl Wed 01-Jun-16 14:42:15

I am up for the central London meet up on the 14th June. I live in Harrow.

I hate to be a drop out, but had my foot operation yesterday and it is unbelievably painful. I am an old school stoic, but can't see myself making it down the steps at Zédel with a grotesque plaster cast and two crutches, also my howling might put the other diners off their lunches. Sorry girls, please let's try to do it again when I am leaping like a spring hare, although that is feeling unlikely at the moment.
Sorry.

sweetpea Tue 14-Jun-16 11:18:39

Sorry that this didn't get going. Perhaps we could do it some other time? smile

michellehargreaves Tue 14-Jun-16 13:03:24

Sweet pea, I would love for it to happen. I feel bad not to have run with the banner - not very likely as I am sitting with my feet up ALL the time. And fighting with crutches. I feel incredibly stupid that I imagined I would be out and about a week after a foot op. My I.Q must be diminishing rapidly, or my optimism increasing. Is there a way of contacting one another without having to start a new link? It seems rather medieval to have to start a new thread with no guarantee of anyone ever reading it.?

If only I had been a member earlier as I would have loved to meetup. Next time hopefully, if another London meet is arranged smile
