The date is set so I have started this new thread just for people to let me know if they are coming and I can then book a venue where we can have lunch and a good chat.
Has anyone done a headcount? We don't need to book a table until a week before at the earliest. (Zedel is almost my second home !) I will be having my foot op on 6th June, but even if I don't feel I can make it on the tube, I could always get a cab.
I would offer to take over the organisation but the op might just get in the way, safer for one of you I think. Would any of you SW London ladies fancy an informal get together between 31st May and 5th June?
I'm a definite for the 14 June, I live in West Malling, Kent, so would prefer the central meet up, the 31 May is half term so DGC duties. Don't really know the area where the proposed restaurant is, so wouldn't feel confident about organising!
Hi to you all ? Just joined the site . Coould I join you guys next time you meet up? Would definitely join you if I wasn't going to a bachelorette afternoon tea psrty on that day but looking forwards to other opportunities. ?
I hate to be a drop out, but had my foot operation yesterday and it is unbelievably painful. I am an old school stoic, but can't see myself making it down the steps at Zédel with a grotesque plaster cast and two crutches, also my howling might put the other diners off their lunches. Sorry girls, please let's try to do it again when I am leaping like a spring hare, although that is feeling unlikely at the moment. Sorry.
Sweet pea, I would love for it to happen. I feel bad not to have run with the banner - not very likely as I am sitting with my feet up ALL the time. And fighting with crutches. I feel incredibly stupid that I imagined I would be out and about a week after a foot op. My I.Q must be diminishing rapidly, or my optimism increasing. Is there a way of contacting one another without having to start a new link? It seems rather medieval to have to start a new thread with no guarantee of anyone ever reading it.?
