Hi I've just joined and have clearly just missed the August meet up in Reading. Would love to join you all for the next one. Feel very comforted that other grans share same worries as me.

dustyangel will be in UK in October and we thought about having a meetup in John Lewis in Reading on Wednesday 19th October. We hope as many Berkshire/Surrey Gransnetters as possible will be able to come. We are of course open to any other ideas for venue if anyone has any.

Can I just remind everyone about our meet up on Wednesday 3rd August at 10.30 or thereabouts in the John Lewis coffee shop.

So far we have Deedaa,*Auntieflo*,myself and hopefully Noodles intending to come .Anybody else would be more than welcome.

We usually sit on the raised bit to the right of the entrance and a coloured scarf tied to a handbag is helpful. We look out for one another too.

OK, Wed. 3rd it is then. Do we all lurk around the coffee shop. , and how do we recognise each other? Coloured scarf?

Greenfinch I shall keep my next get together to when we return to Oxford or Abingdon, when it is far easier for me to get there.

Thank you Greenfinch, I may be brave enough come and meet the local! GN. Wed.Aug 3rd looks good, although any of the dates are OK, at the moment, and John Lewis is good. I'll have to save my voucher.
