Any Grans fancy a meet-up in York in the last two weeks of January? No date or venue has been arranged yet. Fridays are good for me but we can choose a date which suits most people.

Good news GreyD. Looking forward to meeting you again.

Fingers crossed that you don't get snowed in greyduster. Really hope that you can make it on Friday.

I’m so sorry and disappointed too that I’m yet again not able to be there. Wishing you all a lovely time catching up. Hopefully I’ll make it another time x

One of these days, Gq, one of these days! You’re on my bucket list! ?

Snap, gd ??!

See you all tomorrow. There should be five of us, possibly 6 if Ginggran decides to come too.

I may have to catch a slightly earlier train back than last time as I had forgotten we are supposed to be babysitting tommorrow evening, but it should still give me plenty of time. Looking forward to it!

I plan to be at Côte Brasserie around midday so should have plenty of time for a chat. What are your train times Greyduster ?

I was hoping to have made it to this lunch, but the house move dates didn't quite coincide. At the moment I am surrounded by all my belongings, and a sea of packing boxes. Somehow, by Monday morning, the former have to get into the latter (gulp) and then they will all make the 322 mile journey to my new home in West Yorkshire!
Looking forward to coming along to the next meet-up, and hope you all have a lovely time tomorrow.

Thanks Millbrook Hope the move goes well
See you next meetup.

I really enjoyed our meet-up today -
a tasty lunch (I haven't had rabbit for years) and excellent company.
Hope a few more Grans will be able to join us at our next meeting in March or on our Springtime walk along the Ouse (with lunch, of course).

Hope the move went well today kupari We were thinking of you and also that you, millbrook will enjoy living in God's own county.

I really enjoyed our lunch, such lovely company. Another walk I meant to suggest for warmer weather is around the walls, one of my favorites.

Greyduster Sat 20-Jan-18 09:00:03

An extremely enjoyable few hours in very good company! Best wishes for your new life in Yorkshire, Millbrook - we are truly wonderful people grin!

A walk around the walls would be good artyfarty especially when the daffodils are in bloom. We'd have to watch our step though on the narrow bits - could be so engrossed in conversion that we might lose somebody over the side!!

Lovely to see everyone again. Really looking forward to meeting in March and for our spring walk with a few more grans too. Hope the move is going to plan Millbrook

Glad you all had a good time - thanks for the good wishes Alygran oldgoat and Greyduster. I am in the house and - mostly - unpacked. And ( after a wild gale on my first night that my DD assures me isn't normal weather) the sun is shining and I am off to explore the neighbourhood! Hope to make the March meet up.
