No Baggs, am a cheapskate , will be bus for me but could happily walk up/down to Waverley and join the 'taxi girls'
(Then I won't get lost by getting off at the wrong bus stop to the venue!!)

It looks as if I may get to Edinburgh too. Just need other gran to confirm she will do childmind. Fingers crossed. We may indeed need a minibus.

Hello Scottish grans - I'm feeling rather envious of your meet up and wishing I could join you. I even went so far as to check the flights, but I'm in the middle of a tricky family situation so daren't risk it. I shall be with you in spirit though. Hope you all have a lovely time together.

MiL died on Sunday and funeral will be middle of next week so as it turns out I will be able to come along.

Please, could somebody tell me the arrangements for meeting at Waverley? What time are we planning to get the taxi?
My train arrives at 11.20 so I could make my own way to Fiona's house if there's already a car full.

Having spoken to Baggs and Marydoll we proposed meeting at the big waiting room at Waverley around 12 o'clock.Why don't you have a coffee and meet us there to travel by taxi oldgoat?The weather could be too cold to be waiting for buses.
