Yes I could do it but only in the daytime. I’m retired so could make most times apart from appointments and the regular things that I go to. Do have some holidays booked in the next few weeks. Know Birmingham well with it being my city but most people seem to meet up at the city museum or in a Costas. But I have got some holidays booked in the next few months

Let's name some dates and see who is free. I am free, Mon 4th, Tues 5th, Fri 8th and Mon 11th June.

We are away from Monday 18th June for 17 days.

I do other activities on most days, so my best day of the week would be a Wednesday. But as this is an occasional meet up, if it turns out that others can make one of these Monday or Friday dates, I'll see about skipping one of my other activities to fit in. It'll be lovely to meet up once in a while

Not me I'm afraid I will only just be walking without crutches again by then.

Blinko I am free Wednesday 23rd May. The following week is half-term so wouldn't want to commit to anything as I will probably doing something with granddaughters that week. I have no other Wednesdays free until July !

Hi everyone, I can’t make it on the 23rd May But will put the dates in June when I could make a meet up, 20th 22nd 25th 26th 27th 29th. But don’t worry about me as I’m sure there will be other get together. I did have to smile at some of the places where folk go to lunch, John Lewis and Carluchios is a bit out of my league, I usually grab a bag of chips and sit on a bench! But happy to meet up for coffee and a chat to see how it goes.

GKB. The only tine Ive attended a meet-up was at John Lewis cafe. But we only had a coffee. That's what I'd prefer to fit in with my diet! We met at 10ish. I am free on all of those June dates.

This is gonna be tricky. I think NannyJan is on hols after mid June.

There's a café in Church Street, just off Colmore Row, called Home Is Where. I've been there, it's not a restaurant, just a café and deli. Perhaps worth a look this time?
