That is 16th May 2019. Sorry about confusion, at some point I had to start a new thread as otherwise it would not go into "active".

Oops! Just noticed that I made the same mistake as Flossie. Call it brain fog or crossed wires or whatever but I was watching the BBC item on the effects of the menopause at the time and telling myself I had no sign of brain fog! Ah well I know better now!

Hi ladies. I came to your March meeting and really enjoyed meeting you all. Unfortunately I couldn’t make the April meeting and can’t make tomorrow either. All to do with medical issues. Having a procedure at end of month and doubt if I’ll get to June either! Just wanted to know I’m definitely hoping to join you at a later date and there is no other reason for me not attending.

We had such a laugh a today’s meet-up. I am so happy to be part of this lovely group of ladies. Thanks to Loopyloo for the local newsletter. We are off to William Morris Gallery tomorrow. As usual I learned a lot. Like how to use the bus app on my phone and the definition of a Epicurean Paradox.

So sorry could not make it yesterday./ Did say that Bonney and I had a coach outing booked and paid for. Have you set a date for the June meeting. Want to get that in my diary asap.

My DH thought we just talked about girlie things and is now looking up Epicurean Paradox!

So sorry - will have to give my apologies for this meet-up next Thursday. My daughter now tells me that she has arranged to take me out for a birthday lunch that day.

Hope meet-up went well yesterday. My 'birthday lunch' with my eldest daughter actually turned out to be matinee tickets to see Fiddler on the Roof in the West End. Wonderful surprise and superb show. Please show date agreed for Wanstead meet-up for July, hope to be able to make that.

So glad you had a nice birthday, Franbern. We had a really pleasant meeting despite the very heavy rainfall. Sorry you couldn't make it FT. Hope appt went ok.
