Wanstead Meetup.

Hello all, I miss our meetings. Visited Franbern and she is supremely happy in Weston. I am missing our meet-ups and wonder when we might resume them. Hope you have all faired well during the pandemic.

Hi everyone. Greetings to you all. Hope everyone is OK. I spoke to Niobe the other day and we said how good it will be to meet up again when things allow.
I will take a look at the High Street and see what is open!
In the mean time, I wish Franbern all the best, I picture her sitting on her balcony in the sun and zooming along the promenade.

I see Tim Martin is refusing to pay his staff until the government can get money to them. He as told them to “get jobs in Tesco”. I for one do not want to go back to the George or any other of his places.
When all this is over can we find somewhere else in Wanstead for our meet-ups?

Hi everyone in London and Essex, we are meeting at the George in Wanstead on Thursday 23rd January. This is a friendly Wetherspoons and we can sit and chat for £1.35 for hours! Then have lunch.

I attended my first Gransnet Meet up for North Somerset last week - first one for this new group - six of us - not bad to start - and it was very successful.
I am very happy in my flat in Weston S Mare - really enjoying living on one level and also having everything so very close to me. Was really worth all the heartache and stress of the selling/buying process.
