Central London meets

Depending on dates - since December is already looking fairly busy - I would.

Here are a few dates- see what people think. Friday 2nd December, Tuesday 6th and Wednesday the 7th of December? If none is suitable maybe after Christmas but the weather may be inclement.

I have no idea what the tubes will be doing, the bus drivers I believe have come to an agreement.

I could do Friday 2nd December or Wednesday 7th. This is dependent on no train strikes. I travel to central London by train (as does Bellanonna) as no tubes here.

I am also dependent on the tubes and buses running as my journey is by car, bus and 2 tubes.

Elusivebutterfly we will wait and see what others say.

Hi Charleygirl. I’d love to met up again. 7th December would be better for me. Also happy to meet after Cmas.
I gather today that there won’t be any rail strikes.

The 7th December, a Wednesday would suit me fine and in my opinion, it is far enough away from the 25th to hopefully not make JL very crowded.

That will be 3 of us we could do with a few more!

The first person to arrive bags hopefully a window table and if not, the closest to the windows.

Elusivebutterly do not worry. The last time I met anybody there I arrived exactly on time. None of us can travel before 9.30 am and I go by car, bus and 2 tubes so if the system is not working 100% there can be a problem.

You do not know any of us (I do not think) so I will keep my dark green anorak on until you and Wizend arrive. The remaining three and I have met before.

Niobe that is great. Nearer the time we will have a better idea if tubes, trains and buses will be running on that day or not. I am aware there will be more strikes but to my knowledge, no dates have been mentioned.

Charleygirl , we will just have to watch the news and this thread in case of any changes at the last minute.

Sorry, won’t be able to do the 7th. Dd away for work (again) so will be away, helping SiL to get 3 small Gdcs up, dressed, breakfasted, and to school and nursery….and pick ups. Will need a rest cure afterwards but heigh ho.

Witzend OMG you will need a few days rest after doing so much! You can think of us having lunch and relaxing!

Just found out OH has organised the cleaner for a deep clean this week. Her normal day is Thursday but this week she’s coming on Wednesday so unfortunately I can’t make it. Bit disappointed but hope you have a great time.
