Somerset Bath area

Are Fonthill and Bitton close to each other? I’ve no idea of the geography having moved to this area from Kent not very long ago.

Fonthill Garden Centre is in Bitton on Bath Road

It’s NO 19 bus from Cribbs Causeway. I think it runs every hour.

Shall I start. I have a lot going on in May. So suggest Tuesday 2nd of June. 2.30 pm. at Fonthill, Bitton.

That sounds fine, but I’d prefer having lunch as well/instead…
I have a long 2-bus journey from north Bristol.
The other alternative is for me to start a Bristol/North Somerset/south Gloucestershire thread. Someone would have to suggest a venue as I have no idea of places to meet!

Cribbs might be pretty central to that group GM.

Frome is a good place to meet for a coffee if you don't drive? There is a lovely coffee shop up the little street with the stream running down it but can never remember it's name. But it does Illy coffee my favourite.

I love The River House too, which has just had a name change . Do you mean the one at the very top of Cheap Street, I think it is called The Settle?
