Should we bomb De-ash/ISIS in Syria?

Most of the fleeing men are on their own. Presumably they've left their families to fend for themselves.

Quite usual in close extended families for the young male to leave wife and children ,not to fend for themselves but with parents and other older family members whilst the man travels looking for a place of safety to bring their families to. If anyone checks the migration records of the UK they will see the same happened here. Not all but many.

The side they support? Our soldiers - ours? British? not Syrian? Whatever happened to patriotism and fighting for your country?

If all our brave young men had fled rather than join up in WW2 Britain would be a very different place today.

My word, there are so many people out there who are so sure of what is the right way to solve all these problems that I cannot understand why they are not running the country; they just post all their great ideas on these websites to which we get links.

Our young men had no choice if called up and comparing the enlisting in the British army to the men in Syria not having an army to join is pointless

Our men knew who and what they were fighting for, if this country had an army of the crown killing the people and groups of terrorists fighting the crown were also killing the people , would they have tossed a coin and joined in with one lot or the other, whilst being bombed by five countries ?m

Why do young men flee their countries instead of fighting their oppressors?Already millions have left, must the country be emptied of all except ISIS. If our country is under threat we have to defend ourselves, because where can we all flee to? I would appreciate your views.

If your country is being dismantled by your "legitimate government" and the chaos has bred a long list of factions, all fighting each other, what on earth does "fighting for your country" mean?

But we are killing thousands by just sitting and sending drones in from the US. We do not need to have soldiers on the ground; we can just kill everyone in Syria, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and pretend we are an army.
Cleanse these awful islamic countries. Might kill a few Christians on the way, but that will not matter. Collateral damage is okay providing we kill the devils.

I have every sympathy for the men who flee Syria. War is so positively outdated. Why should anyone who doesn't want to partake in it, be made to?

It has happened so many times in so many other countries from time immemorial that I can't see why these young men are different.

The problem, roseq, is that they do not know who they are joining, or whether they will change allegiance in a few months time. There are so many factions in Syria.
